The Art of Psychology

Tread carefully across the eggshell floors,
each delicate cracking noise is a broken thought;
a schism in the relationship of mind and soul.
Tread carefully, and take your seat
Upon that tattered, lofty throne.
Sit on high, and judge over all of it.
Assess your surroundings.
See the floor, broken and tainted.
Think about it.
What is wrong with it, objectively.
How can you change it?
Sit and think some more.

Or give up the thinking.
Dance on the cracked eggshell floor.
Sing a soulful song as you do so.
Take the dusty remnants of emotions,
mix them up.
Paint a pretty picture with the pigment.
A picture of lines and dots.
Connecting the thought and the feeling.
